Bitterness is amazing

I hadn't realized it, but with the addition of a new house and last years bitter taste in my mouth, I haven't ran a CBT demo since August 16, 2008.   I haven't even painted a single mech since then and I had just received 100+ tanks.

Accelerating Humanity

We are driving down that road so much faster now than anytime in our history.  Someone from the year 1009 could understand the world and adapt easily to the world in 1209, or maybe even 1509.   But as we speed down this razors edge it gets stranger and more alarming.  Could that same person from 1509, or even 1809 handle us?  Stephen Hawking once questioned the chances humanity could live another 100 years.  He told a sick joke about the reason there hasn't been a visit by alien life is simple. Once a civilation gets to our state of development, it becomes unstable and destroys themselves, so other life forms have all done that.

Me personally I have faith in Humanity...   All I have to say is Boom-de-yada.  I love the whole world and all its craziness.

Some examples from the past

200 years ago...The steamboat was patented, Napoleon was busy trying to take over Europe, Darwin & Lincoln are both born, the USS Constitution is recommissioned.

100 years ago... that amazing year 1909 blood types were first catagorized, the Titanic began being built, the US military buys the first miltary airplane, and the Manhattan bridge opens.

Just a bit of humor

My 1st cousin and his wife are actors in Hollywood.  Their latest movie I happened to catch was Zombie Strippers.  http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0960890/fullcredits#cast I happened to see it on Spike TV and couldn't believe it when I saw him.  JUST wait until the next family reunion!

Edit... and he wrote Murderabilia and Star Chicks.   I guess I am out of the loop!
